Shark Tank Local is an event service for local communities around the world. Talented and resourceful individuals called "Sharks" are center stage and are presented with business ideas which can be developed and funded according to the interest of the "Sharks". Although much time is needed to prepare in advance, the event is fast moving and takes place in one evening. This event is very similar to the wildly successful television series. According to wikipedia: Shark Tank is an American reality television series that premiered on ABC on August 9, 2009.[1] It is the American version of the global Dragons' Den franchise and features business pitches from aspiring entrepreneurs to a panel of potential investors.
The major difference is that "Shark Tank Local" is presented on a local basis for the benefit of the community.
